Via the United Kingdom and France they arrived on the island Horta in the Azores. After taking on fuel, Callisto headed out on the 2000Nm journey across the Atlantic Ocean. It took 9 days of non-stop sailing at an average speed of 9 knots to reach Bermuda, with fuel to spare.

The Korvet50XLR carried 2000 liter of extra fuel, in tanks that are integrated in the aluminum hull; a total of 4600 liter.
